As I’m sure you’re aware, applying to colleges and universities in the United States is extremely challenging. And this is especially true when you factor in the 5, 10, or even 20 institutions you plan to submit applications to. This is where the Common Application comes in - it is your “one-stop-shop” for college applications.It’s where you can add all of your information, including your essays, letters of recommendation, and other supplemental materials, to one central location, and then submit to more than 800 schools, including all eight Ivy Leagues. It is for this reason that the Common Application is so important - it is the largest part of your application.
I put this training together for the 2017-2018 application cycle and, while the Common App updated their website just this year, the content included is still relevant and will help you complete the Common App step-by-step. I also include helpful tips and advice specific to international students, addressing some of the problems I have seen clients encounter as they move through the Common Application. It will be a valuable resource for you if you are struggling to put together your common application.
